*the Recycle Center will be closed on all major holidays and will close early on the Friday, and be closed on the Saturday, proceeding any Monday holiday.

The Vernon Parish Recycle Center accepts:
White Copy Paper
Mixed Paper (newspaper, cardstock, food boxes, etc.)
Cardboard
#1 Plastic
Scrap Metal
All recycling should be clean and unsoiled – paper or cardboard that are soiled (like pizza boxes) cannot be recycled.
We DO NOT accept hazardous materials, solid waste, or batteries.
The Vernon Parish Recycle Center is a partnership between the Vernon Parish Police Jury, Waste Connections, the City of Leesville, and JRTC and Fort Polk.
