Administrative Body

The Administrative Body of the police jury carries out the laws, policies, and procedures established by the Executive Body.

Rhonda M. Plummer is the Administrator & Treasurer of the Police Jury and is head of the administrative side of parish government. The Administrator is an appointed position and the police jury elects the Treasurer every two years. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the parish, for preparing the annual budget, and directing the activities under her supervision.  Mrs. Plummer has been Administrator & Treasurer since 2006. 

Belinda S. Diehl is the Secretary of the Police Jury and is appointed by the police jury. She works closely with the Administrator & Treasurer on the day-to-day operations of the parish.  She is also responsible for the records of the parish – preparing all meeting agendas and minutes and responding to public records requests. Ms. Diehl has been the Secretary since 2014.

Carl H. Thompson, CFM, CSI, is the Road Manager and he manages all activities from the Public Works Department and supervises the seven (7) Road District Foremen. The Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining all parish roads (approximately 900 miles), drainage, and bridges. Mr. Thompson has been the Road Manager since 2008.
