HICKORY RIDGE RECREATION PARK

Hickory Ridge Park is a PAY PER USE recreation park. A permit is required for anyone entering the park for any reason. 

Hickory Ridge Recreation Park is located on Vernon Lake and is maintained and operated by the Vernon Parish Police Jury for public use.  Hickory Ridge consist of eight campsites which all have electricity.  Sewer and water are also available within the park.  Water supply is from West Vernon Waterworks.  Hickory Ridge Recreation Park is a gated campground with tent and RV camping, 3 self-contained RV hook-ups with 30 Amp receptacles, bathrooms and showers, enclosed pavilion, a fish-cleaning station, running water, public boat ramp outside gate, fishing and swimming areas, tables and charcoal grills, and a dock area.

Camping at Hickory Ridge is oriented for family atmosphere.  The Vernon Parish Police Jury intends to provide the residents of Vernon Parish with outdoor recreational opportunities.  This facility belongs to the residents of Vernon Parish, and your assistance is requested to keep it clean, safe and enjoyable for everyone.

The fee for the use of the campsite is as follows:

Tents – $10.00 per day/per site
Camper – $15.00 per day/per site
Fee for use of the building –  $25.00 per day
Fee for rental of whole park – $80.00 per day

Seniors 62+ or Disabled/Handicap
Half Price with valid proof of identification (Handicap ID and/or Driver’s License)

ALL WHOLE PARK RENTALS MUST BE PAID IN FULL BY THE PREVIOUS WEEK.  FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN THE LOSS OF YOUR PARK RESERVATION.

Campsite 6: Has both 20 and 30 amp receptacles.

Campsites 3-5: Share two 20 amp RV hook-ups

Campsite 8: Has two 30 amp RV hook-ups

Campsites 7-8: Only campsites with water.

*All spots have electricity.
