A permit is required for anyone entering the park for any reason.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Hickory Ridge Recreation Park is located on Vernon Lake and is maintained and operated by the Vernon Parish Police Jury for public use.&nbsp; Hickory Ridge consist of eight campsites which all have electricity.&nbsp; Sewer and water are also available within the park.&nbsp; Water supply is from West Vernon Waterworks.&nbsp; Hickory Ridge Recreation Park is a gated campground with tent and RV camping, 3 self-contained RV hook-ups with 30 Amp receptacles, bathrooms and showers, enclosed pavilion, a fish-cleaning station, running water, public boat ramp outside gate, fishing and swimming areas, tables and charcoal grills, and a dock area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Camping at Hickory Ridge is oriented for family atmosphere.&nbsp; The Vernon Parish Police Jury intends to provide the residents of Vernon Parish with outdoor recreational opportunities.&nbsp; This facility belongs to the residents of Vernon Parish, and your assistance is requested to keep it clean, safe and enjoyable for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong><u>The fee for the use of the campsite is as follows:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Tents &#8211; $10.00 per day\/per site<br>Camper &#8211; $15.00 per day\/per site<br>Fee for use of the building &#8211;&nbsp; $25.00 per day<br>Fee for rental of whole park &#8211; $80.00 per day<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Seniors 62+ or Disabled\/Handicap<br><\/strong><strong style=\"font-style: inherit;\">Half Price with valid proof of identification (Handicap ID and\/or Driver&#8217;s License)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>*EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">ALL WHOLE PARK RENTALS MUST BE PAID IN FULL BY THE PREVIOUS WEEK.&nbsp; FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN THE LOSS OF YOUR PARK RESERVATION.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Campsite 6<\/strong>: Has both 20 and 30 amp&nbsp;receptacles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Campsites 3-5<\/strong>: Share two 20 amp RV hook-ups<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Campsite 8<\/strong>: Has two 30 amp RV hook-ups<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Campsites 7-8<\/strong>: Only campsites with water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>*All spots have electricity.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/calendar\/embed?src=fp9pgqj65bss0u9ih5pi3h0flk%40group.calendar.google.com&amp;ctz=America\/Chicago\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HICKORY RIDGE RECREATION PARK Hickory Ridge Park is a PAY PER USE recreation park.
